The Mikawa highlands that ripple through eastern Aichi Prefecture create natural terrain well suited to parkland-style layouts, and the club occupies the kind of wooded, undulating land typical of courses built in this part of Chubu during Japan's postwar golf expansion.

Toyota City itself is a sprawling place, covering more land area than Osaka, with forested foothills pushing up toward the Ibi-Sekigahara-Yoro Quasi-National Park to the north. Golf courses here tend to play through cedar and broadleaf woodland, with seasonal color — cherry blossom in spring, deep maple reds in autumn — giving rounds a distinctly Japanese parkland character.
