Rold Skov Golfklub

Rold Skov Golfklub takes its name from Rold Skov — the largest forest in Denmark — and the course makes full use of that setting. Fairways thread through stands of spruce, pine, and beech, with the forest providing both the backdrop and the main hazard: errant shots disappear quickly into dense woodland, and recovery depends as much on luck as skill. It is a course that rewards precision off the tee above all else.

Skørping sits at the southern edge of the Rebild Bakker hills, a landscape of heathland and forest that feels genuinely wild by Danish standards. The Rebild National Park, Denmark's first, borders the area, and the terrain here has real undulation — unusual for a country most outsiders imagine as flat. That rolling, tree-lined ground gives the course a sheltered, intimate quality, with changes in elevation that add both visual interest and strategic depth.
