Few clubs in Surrey command a setting quite like this one. Reigate Hill Golf Club sits high on the North Downs escarpment, and the views across the Weald that open up on a clear day are among the most dramatic you'll encounter on any parkland course in the Home Counties. The terrain is genuine downland — firm, rolling, with the kind of natural contour that predates anything an architect might impose.
The club has been part of the Surrey golf landscape since the late Victorian era, and that longevity shows in the character of the course: mature trees, established rough, and a layout that rewards local knowledge and course management over raw power. Surrey sits at the heart of one of England's most concentrated regions for golf, with neighbours like Walton Heath, Reigate Heath, and Redhill close by — all of which raises the standard of what a county golfer expects.
This is a members' club in the traditional sense, rooted in its community and its hillside. Visitors are welcome, but they arrive on the course's terms, not the other way around.
