Few courses in the American Southwest carry the visual drama that Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club delivers. Designed by Johnny Miller and opened in 1996, it plays across the rugged lava rock and red sandstone terrain at the edge of Snow Canyon State Park — one of the most striking natural backdrops in American golf. The jagged black basalt flows that cut through the layout aren't decorative; they're active hazards, and they give Entrada a character that's genuinely unlike almost anywhere else you'll play.
The course has served as home to PGA Tour Champions events, and it consistently ranks among the best courses in Utah. Miller's routing moves through arroyos and alongside canyon walls, demanding both precision and patience. The elevation changes and desert wind add further complexity to what the lava fields and tight fairways already provide.
St. George sits in Utah's Dixie region, where a warm, dry climate extends the golf season well beyond what the rest of the state enjoys. It's become a serious golf destination, and Entrada is the standard against which other courses in the area are measured.
