Few settings in British golf match the sheer drama of playing beneath the walls of Bamburgh Castle, one of England's most imposing medieval fortresses. The course sits on the Northumberland coast with the castle rising directly above the fairways and the North Sea stretching to the horizon — a combination that makes it genuinely difficult to keep your eyes on the ball.
