ESTEC Golf Club

ESTEC Golf Club takes its name from the European Space Research and Technology Centre — ESA's largest establishment, located directly adjacent to the course in Noordwijk. The club grew out of the scientific community that populated the space agency's campus, giving it an unusually international membership for a Dutch private club, with engineers, researchers, and aerospace professionals from across Europe forming the backbone of its golfing society. That origin story gives the club a distinctive identity quite unlike the landed-gentry traditions of many members' clubs.

Noordwijk sits in the coastal dune belt of South Holland, a stretch of terrain that has shaped Dutch golf for over a century.
