Chattanooga itself sits at a dramatic bend in the Tennessee River, hemmed in by Lookout Mountain and the ridges of the Cumberland Plateau. That topography is no mere backdrop — the rolling, sometimes abrupt terrain of the region gives courses here a character you won't find on flatter ground, rewarding players who can read elevation changes and manage their ball flight accordingly.

As a private club, the experience here is shaped as much by tradition and membership culture as by the layout itself. Par 71 suggests at least one par-5 concession somewhere in the routing, but the real measure of this course is the history carried in its grounds.
