Few places to play golf in Panama carry quite the latitude and luminosity of Rio Hato, a coastal stretch along the Pacific lowlands roughly 120 kilometers southwest of Panama City. Buenaventura Golf Course is part of the broader Buenaventura residential and resort community, a master-planned development that has grown into one of Panama's more recognized second-home destinations for both locals and international buyers. The course serves as the community's green centerpiece — a full 18-hole, par-72 layout designed to complement resort-style living rather than demand championship-caliber preparation from its players.
