Golf igrišče Grad Mokrice

Slovenia's only castle course wraps around the grounds of Grad Mokrice, a Renaissance fortress whose origins trace to the 16th century and which today operates as a luxury hotel. The course occupies the estate's parkland and woodland, playing through mature trees with the castle itself forming an unmistakable backdrop on several holes. It is one of just a handful of 18-hole courses in the entire country, which makes it something of a landmark for Slovenian golf even beyond its romantic setting.

Jesenice na Dolenjskem sits in the Krka river valley in Lower Carniola, close to the Croatian border, and the surrounding landscape is quintessentially Slovenian — rolling hills, dense forest, and a quietly agrarian countryside.
