Right Green

Dashu District sits in the inland hills southeast of Kaohsiung, where Taiwan's subtropical climate keeps the vegetation dense and the fairways green year-round. The area is far enough from the city bustle to feel genuinely rural, yet the broader Kaohsiung metropolitan region has cultivated a serious golf culture — southern Taiwan's warm, rain-fed seasons mean courses here see play in conditions that would shut down temperate-climate courses for months.

The name "Right Green" doesn't correspond to a course in my reference knowledge, so I'll resist the temptation to invent a design pedigree or signature holes. What the location does suggest is a layout shaped by the hilly topography common to Dashu, where courses typically work across and around ridgelines, rewarding shot-makers who can manage elevation changes and the occasional crosswind that funnels through the valleys.

Arriving at an 18-hole facility in this corner of Kaohsiung, players can reasonably expect lush turf, mature tree lines, and a pace of play that reflects a region where golf is treated as a proper leisure pursuit rather than a quick recreational pass.
