Campo de Golfe da Curia

Tucked into the heart of the Bairrada wine region of central Portugal, the Campo de Golfe da Curia occupies the grounds of one of the country's most storied thermal spa destinations. Curia has been a place of leisure and recuperation since the late 19th century, and the golf course grew out of that same unhurried, restorative tradition — a place where playing a round was always part of a longer, more indulgent stay rather than a competitive expedition.

The layout winds through mature woodland and the manicured parkland surrounding the grand Curia Palace Hotel, giving it a distinctly European resort character. Anadia sits at the southern edge of the Bairrada DOC zone, famous for its Baga-based reds and espumante sparkling wines. A post-round meal with a chilled bottle of local brut is essentially mandatory.
