Innes Park Golf Club sits on the southern edge of Bundaberg, a city better known for its rum distillery and its role as a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef than for golf tourism — which makes the local club scene something of a well-kept regional secret. Bundaberg's climate is warm and reliable, with that classic Queensland subtropical light that keeps turf green year-round and makes an early morning round genuinely pleasant for most of the calendar.
At par 61, Innes Park is built around shorter holes — primarily par 3s and short par 4s — which places the premium firmly on iron play, touch around the greens, and course management rather than raw power. That format tends to produce a course with real character: every hole has to earn its keep without the luxury of length as a defence, and members often develop a precise, intimate knowledge of each green complex and its particular moods.
As a private members' club, Innes Park exists to serve its community first, offering a home course that regulars can walk and know deeply over years of play.
