Bristow Manor Golf Club occupies a stretch of Prince William County in Bristow, Virginia — a corner of Northern Virginia that sits roughly 35 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., where the suburban sprawl of the Beltway corridor gradually gives way to open land and Civil War–era countryside. The course rolls across terrain shaped by the Bull Run foothills, and that topography gives it genuine variety: elevation changes, wooded corridors, and a sense of separation from the surrounding development that the scorecard can't quite convey.
The layout plays as a full par 72, giving it the structure of a proper test — enough room for a range of hole designs across the front and back nines. For Northern Virginia golfers, it occupies a middle ground between the private club world of the D.C. suburbs and the more casual resort destinations to the south and west.
Prince William County has quietly built a respectable public golf scene, and Bristow Manor has long been part of that fabric — a familiar name to weekend regulars and a reasonable first stop for visitors exploring the region's courses.
