Aarhus Golf Club

Few golf clubs in Scandinavia carry the history that Aarhus Golf Club does. Founded in 1931, it is one of Denmark's oldest and most respected clubs, and its course at Højbjerg has long been considered among the finest inland layouts in the country. The club has hosted numerous Danish national championships over the decades, cementing its status as a serious test of the game rather than a casual recreational facility.

The course occupies mature, rolling heathland and forest terrain south of Aarhus city, and the landscape does much of the architectural work.
