Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang occupies one of the more dramatic settings in Southeast Asian golf — the interior of Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay, reached by what is reputedly the world's longest over-water cable car. That arrival alone sets the tone: this is resort golf as spectacle, part of the sprawling Vinpearl entertainment and hospitality complex that has defined luxury tourism in central Vietnam for the past two decades. The course was designed by IMG, the sports management and events company that has developed a number of resort layouts across Asia.
The layout winds through hilly, tropical terrain with the bay and its scattering of limestone islands visible from much of the course. Coastal Vietnam's climate means lush, year-round greenery, though the region does see a wetter season in the autumn months. The combination of elevation changes and sea breezes keeps the course playing with more variety than a flat resort track typically offers.
Nha Trang itself is Vietnam's premier beach city, a long crescent of coastline backed by mountains about 450 kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors tend to combine a round here with broader resort use — beach, pools, dining — making it as much a half-day experience as a serious test of golf.
