Camp Farallones sits in the lush Cauca Valley, one of Colombia's most storied golf corridors. Cali — the country's salsa capital and a city with a deep-rooted sporting culture — has long supported a serious club golf scene, and the Farallones de Cali mountain range looming to the west gives this course one of the more dramatic natural backdrops in South American golf. Playing at a valley elevation that keeps temperatures mild year-round, this is a place where conditions rarely punish the calendar, only the swing.
The club itself carries the character typical of Colombia's established private societies: a strong membership culture, well-maintained grounds, and a layout that rewards course management over raw power. Par 73 suggests at least one extra par 5 worked into the routing, which on terrain influenced by the Andean foothills likely means at least one hole where the land does most of the talking.
For traveling golfers, Cali sits within reach of several respected courses, making it a legitimate destination for those who take golf seriously enough to plan a round around a flight.
