富士ゴルフコース

山中湖村に広がる富士ゴルフコースは、富士山の北東麓、標高約1,000メートルの高原に位置する。山中湖を擁する富士五湖エリアは、日本でも屈指のゴルフ密集地帯として知られており、夏場でも涼しい高原の気候を求めて都市部から多くのゴルファーが訪れる。山梨県側からは富士山の均整のとれた山容が間近に迫り、コースに立つと火山性の地形と針葉樹の森が独特の景観をつくり出す。

This part of Yamanashi Prefecture sits within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, and the surrounding landscape carries the volcanic character of the region — firm, well-drained soils underfoot and stands of larch and pine that frame fairways rather than simply line them. The combination of altitude and the lake's proximity creates morning mists that can transform the playing experience entirely, demanding patience and local knowledge to score well.

コースタイプとしては、リゾートエリアに点在するパブリック寄りの施設として機能しており、週末には観光を兼ねたゴルファーにも親しまれている。富士山を仰ぎながらラウンドできる環境は、スコアを超えた体験としてプレーヤーに記憶される。
