Weston Hills Country Club occupies a central place in South Florida's competitive private golf landscape, known as the long-running home of the PGA TOUR's Honda Classic before that event moved to PGA National. The club has hosted significant professional and amateur competition over the years, and its history as a tournament venue gives it a pedigree that most South Florida private clubs can't match. The design reflects the classic Florida parkland style — wide corridors, strategically placed water hazards, and the kind of bentgrass-free, subtropical conditions that demand a different kind of thinking than northern courses.
Weston itself sits in western Broward County, a planned community that borders the edge of the Everglades. The landscape is flat and open, the weather warm year-round, and afternoon thunderstorms from June through September are simply part of the calendar. Winter months bring some of the best playing conditions in the country.
