Jockey Club de Rosario

Few golf clubs in Argentina carry the social and sporting weight of the Jockey Club de Rosario. Founded in the late 19th century as part of Rosario's broader Jockey Club movement — which, like its Buenos Aires counterpart, blended horse racing, polo, and eventually golf into a single elite sporting institution — the club reflects the ambitions of a city that was, for a time, one of the wealthiest in South America. The golf course itself sits within that tradition of serious, member-driven sport rather than resort spectacle.

Rosario is Argentina's 3rd-largest city and the undisputed capital of the Pampas, a flat, wind-swept agricultural heartland where the land opens up in every direction.
