高松ゴールドカントリー倶楽部 (Takamatsu Gold Country Club)

Takamatsu Gold Country Club occupies the hilly interior of Ayagawa-cho, a quiet inland town in Kagawa Prefecture that sits at a remove from the Seto Inland Sea coastline most visitors associate with Shikoku's smallest prefecture. The course is a private members' club, and like many Japanese inland layouts built during the latter half of the 20th century, it works with the natural contours of the wooded hillside terrain rather than flattening it — elevation changes and doglegs through the trees are central to how the round unfolds rather than incidental to it.

Kagawa's golf culture is understated but genuine.
