Worrigee is a small township sitting just inland from Nowra on the New South Wales South Coast, a region where the Shoalhaven River meets a broad coastal plain before the land rises into the escarpment country of Morton National Park. Golf in the Shoalhaven has always had a working-class, community character — courses built by and for locals rather than resort visitors — and Worrigee Links fits that tradition comfortably.
A par 70 suggests a layout that trades a couple of the longer par 4s for something shorter and more strategic, rewarding accurate ball-striking over raw power. Links in the name hints at open, exposed terrain and firm conditions rather than the shaded parkland corridors more common to inland New South Wales — though how faithfully the design channels a true linksland feel is something only a round in the Shoalhaven wind can confirm.
