Mendon is a small town in Monroe County, sitting in the gentle drumlins and glacially shaped terrain southeast of Rochester — a region with a legitimate golf culture and a club scene that stretches back well over a century. The area's rolling topography, a direct product of the last ice age, gives courses here a natural contour that designers in flatter parts of the country spend fortunes trying to recreate.
