Chilliwack Golf and Country Club is one of the Fraser Valley's longer-standing private clubs, occupying flat to gently rolling terrain in the agricultural heart of the valley floor. The course plays through mature trees that give it a parkland character typical of British Columbia's interior-influenced clubs — a contrast to the links-style exposure you'd find closer to the coast.
Chilliwack itself sits roughly 100 kilometres east of Vancouver, where the Fraser Valley begins to narrow toward the Cascade foothills. The result is a setting defined by big mountain backdrops — the peaks of the Cascades and Coast Mountains visible on clear days — and a climate that delivers more sunshine and drier summers than the Lower Mainland, making the course reliably playable through the season.
As a members-only club, Chilliwack Golf and Country Club functions as a genuine gathering point for the local golf community rather than a destination resort. The emphasis is on the kind of unhurried, repeat-play experience where members come to know every bounce and break — a course that rewards familiarity over spectacle.
