Dellwood Country Club sits on the eastern shore of White Bear Lake, one of the Twin Cities' most storied stretches of private golf and lake country. The club has roots going back to the early 20th century, part of a broader era when Minneapolis and St. Paul's prosperous families built summer retreats along this chain of lakes northeast of the metro.
