Few public golf courses in America share their address with one of the most beloved state parks in the Midwest. Peninsula State Park's golf course sits within the boundaries of the 3,776-acre park itself, which means a round here comes with backdrop scenery — hardwood forest, limestone bluffs, and the waters of Green Bay visible through the trees — that most resort courses would spend millions trying to manufacture.
Door County has built a serious reputation as a golf destination over the decades, drawing visitors who combine rounds with the peninsula's cherries, fish boils, and galleries.
