Golfclub Münster-Wilkinghege

Few German golf clubs carry quite the atmosphere of Münster-Wilkinghege, whose home is the grounds of Schloss Wilkinghege, a moated Renaissance castle that has stood on the northwestern edge of Münster since the 16th century. Golf and historic architecture make for striking companions here — the castle itself serves as the clubhouse, and the sense of playing within a working piece of Westphalian heritage is genuine and unhurried. The club was founded in 1963 and ranks among the more established and respected private clubs in the region.
