Trenton Golf Club sits along the Bay of Quinte corridor in southeastern Ontario, a region where the Trent-Severn Waterway meets Lake Ontario and the pace of life runs a little quieter than in the cities to the west. The town of Trenton — now part of the Municipality of Quinte West — is perhaps best known as home to 8 Wing CFB Trenton, Canada's largest air force base, and the golf club reflects the community it serves: unpretentious, functional, and genuinely welcoming to everyday players.
At par 68, the course plays as a shorter, more compact layout than a standard regulation track, which tends to put a premium on precision and course management over raw distance. These designs often reward players who work the ball and think their way around rather than those who simply overpower it.
The area itself offers pleasant warm-season golf in a landscape shaped by glacial lakes, mixed hardwood forests, and the broad, open skies above Prince Edward County wine country just across the bay — a genuine slice of Ontario's quieter countryside.
