Aberdeen Proving Ground sits along the upper Chesapeake Bay in Harford County, Maryland, where the water defines everything — the light, the humidity, the way the land flattens and rolls toward the shoreline. Ruggles Golf Course serves that community as a full 18-hole layout on one of the Army's oldest and largest proving grounds, a facility with roots going back to World War I.
