Bangkok's golf scene is one of the most vibrant in Southeast Asia, with dozens of courses ringing the Thai capital — and The Legacy Golf Club has built a solid reputation as one of the city's more polished daily-fee venues. Opened in the early 2000s and laid out across the flat central plains that characterize the greater Bangkok basin, the course makes the most of its terrain through strategic water features, mature trees, and carefully shaped bunkering rather than dramatic elevation. It plays as a genuine test for mid-handicappers while remaining accessible enough that it draws a steady mix of Thai members and visiting players from the city's large expatriate and business-travel communities.
The surrounding landscape is quintessential lowland Thailand — wide open skies, rice-plain horizons, and the kind of lush tropical vegetation that recovers fast and stays green year-round in the wet season.
Like most Bangkok-area courses, The Legacy rewards course management over raw power. Humidity and heat, particularly from March through May, make the walk a commitment, and morning tee times are almost universally preferred.
