Few military installations in the American Southeast can claim a setting quite like Joint Base Charleston's. The base sits along the Cooper River just outside Charleston proper, where the South Carolina Lowcountry does what it does best — Spanish moss draping live oaks, tidal marshes bleeding into the tree lines, and a humidity that settles over the landscape like a second skin. Wrenwoods Golf Course occupies this terrain as a genuine working course for service members, their families, and authorized civilians, offering a full 18-hole layout that earns its place in a region with serious golf pedigree.
Charleston and its surroundings are no stranger to quality golf — the area draws players for its resort tracks, private clubs, and coastal courses in equal measure.
