Benamor Golf

Few corners of the Algarve feel as unhurried as Tavira, a whitewashed town of Roman bridges and tuna-fishing heritage that sits well east of the resort crowds clustered around Vilamoura and Albufeira. The routing moves through mature Mediterranean vegetation with views toward the Serra do Caldeirão foothills, and the course has a genuine rural character that distinguishes it from the larger, more theatrical resort tracks further along the coast. It plays to a forgiving standard that welcomes mid-to-high handicappers without boring better players.
