Los Serranos Golf & Country Club carries real history in the Inland Empire — the property dates back decades and has long served as a social and sporting anchor for the Chino Hills community. The club sits in the rolling, oak-studded terrain that defines this transitional zone between the San Gabriel Valley and the Chino Valley, where the Santa Ana winds can turn a calm afternoon into a genuine examination of ball control. That kind of site gives the course a character rooted in the land rather than manufactured around it.
Chino Hills itself became a city only in 1991, but the golf here predates that incorporation, lending Los Serranos a sense of establishment that newer Inland Empire developments rarely match. The surrounding hills create natural elevation changes and framing that a flat valley layout simply cannot replicate.
As a private, members-only club, Los Serranos offers the unhurried pace and maintained conditions that come with a dedicated membership rather than a revolving door of daily-fee traffic — a meaningful distinction in a region where public and resort options compete heavily for weekend rounds.
