Windlesham opened in 1994, designed by Tommy Horton, the respected European Tour player and Ryder Cup representative. For a course of relatively recent vintage, it wears its surroundings naturally, the mature Scots pines and heather giving it a sense of establishment that belies its age. It plays as a private members' club, with a layout designed to reward thoughtful course management over raw power.
