Few names in Australian golf carry quite as much historical weight as this one. Windsor sits in the Hawkesbury region, roughly 55 kilometres northwest of Sydney, and its colonial past runs deep — the town is among the oldest European settlements on the continent, and the "Rum Corps" reference points directly to the notorious New South Wales Corps, the early colonial regiment whose members became entangled in the rum trade and ultimately the Rum Rebellion of 1808.
