Long Thành Golf Club sits on a generous stretch of rolling land in Phước Tân, a district of Đồng Nai Province roughly 40 kilometers east of Ho Chi Minh City. Opened in the mid-1990s and developed by the Long Thành Golf Investment Company, it was among the early landmark golf destinations to emerge in southern Vietnam during the country's post-Đổi Mới economic opening. The course has since expanded into a multi-course complex — the club now operates 3 eighteen-hole layouts across its grounds — making it one of the larger golf facilities in the region and a regular stop for Saigon-based golfers looking for a serious day out of the city.
The terrain is characteristically undulating for inland Đồng Nai, with natural elevation changes that give each layout a distinct personality. Tropical hardwoods, water hazards, and wide fairways define the visual character, and afternoon thunderstorms during the wet season (May through October) are simply part of the experience.
Long Thành draws a mix of Vietnamese members, expatriate regulars from Ho Chi Minh City, and visiting golfers connecting through Tân Sơn Nhất or the newer Long Thành International Airport being developed nearby. Its scale and accessibility have kept it a fixture in the Vietnamese golf conversation for nearly 3 decades.
