Few American golf facilities carry the institutional weight of PGA Golf Club, the home course complex of the PGA of America situated along Florida's Treasure Coast. Developed in the 1990s as a centerpiece of the PGA Village resort and learning center, the property was designed to showcase what golf could be at a national scale — multiple courses, a world-class practice facility, and instruction programs drawing players from across the country. The South Course, North Course, and Wanamaker Course (the latter designed by Tom Fazio) each offer a distinct character across the sprawling grounds.
Port St. Lucie sits comfortably between the cultural gravity of Palm Beach to the south and the Space Coast to the north — warm most of the year, occasionally breezy off the Atlantic, and surrounded by the kind of flat, pine-and-palmetto Florida terrain that rewards shot-making and course management over raw power.
