Few golf destinations in Spain blend aviation history with fairway life quite like this one. Club de Golf de Manises occupies land adjacent to Valencia's international airport — the Aeropuerto de Valencia sits directly alongside the property — giving the course one of the more unusual settings in Iberian golf. Planes banking overhead are as much a part of the rhythm here as the Mediterranean breeze, and the flat, open terrain reflects the airport's surroundings: wide, exposed, and thoroughly unforgiving when the Levante wind picks up off the coast.
The Valencia region itself is a remarkable backdrop for golf. The city is one of Spain's most dynamic — home to paella's birthplace, a vibrant sailing culture from its America's Cup years, and a climate that delivers more than 300 days of sunshine annually, making year-round play genuinely realistic rather than promotional language.
As one of the established clubs in the greater Valencia area, Manises serves a local membership rather than a resort crowd, with the practical, community-focused character that defines a true regional golf club. It is serious golf for people who actually live here.
