Meadow Vista sits in the western Sierra Nevada foothills, roughly halfway between Sacramento and Tahoe on the old Highway 49 corridor — a stretch of Gold Rush country where the elevation climbs just enough to cool the summers and dust the fairways with snow a few times each winter.
