Few resort courses in the Philippines announce themselves quite like Fairways and Bluewater in Boracay. Carved into the hillside terrain of the island's quieter interior, away from the famous White Beach crowds, the course sits at genuine elevation — an unusual feature for a Philippine island layout — and delivers panoramic views across the Sibuyan Sea and down toward the coastline that most visitors to Boracay never see. The contrast between the turquoise water on the horizon and the lush tropical vegetation framing the fairways gives the course an almost surreal visual quality.
The layout plays across dramatically uneven ground, with elevation changes that demand real shot-shaping and club selection beyond what a flat resort track would require. The terrain keeps the routing honest — this is not simply a backdrop course where scenery forgives sloppy play.
Boracay's climate means the course stays green year-round, though the habagat season from June through October brings stronger winds off the water that can turn even familiar holes into something more demanding. The resort itself is a full destination property, making this a genuine golf-and-beach combination that few spots in Southeast Asia can match.
