Redditch Golf Club has been part of the Worcestershire golfing landscape for well over a century, one of the county's established members' clubs occupying the Callow Hill area on the southern fringe of town. The course sits within easy reach of the Worcestershire countryside proper, where the terrain begins to roll and the influence of the Arrow Valley makes itself felt in the contours underfoot.
Callow Hill places the course on genuinely undulating ground, and that topography does much of the design work — rewarding players who manage elevation changes and think carefully about where they land the ball, rather than simply how far they hit it. The layout has the character typical of English Midlands parkland: tree-lined corridors, variable lies, and conditions that shift meaningfully with the seasons.
For members, this is the kind of club where the course is only part of the draw — the social fabric, the familiarity of a well-worn loop, and a genuine connection to local golfing tradition count for just as much as any individual hole.
