Mladá Boleslav is best known internationally as the home of Škoda Auto, and the golf club here carries some of that industrial city's corporate identity — the course has long been associated with the automaker's presence in the region and draws a membership that reflects the company town's professional class. The layout occupies the rolling countryside of Central Bohemia, where the Jizera River valley shapes the land into gentle ridges and wooded corridors typical of this part of the Czech Republic.
The course plays through a mix of open parkland and tree-lined holes, with the Bohemian hills providing a pleasant backdrop that softens what is otherwise a fairly modest, workmanlike track. It isn't a destination layout in the way that Karlštejn or Albatross near Prague might be, but it serves its community well as a solid regional club where the game is taken seriously.
Central Bohemia's golf scene clusters around Prague but extends into smaller cities like Mladá Boleslav, where clubs tend to offer a no-frills, member-focused experience — competitive weekend fields, active club competitions, and a straightforward pleasure in the game rather than resort-style trappings.
