Randolph (North) Course

Randolph Golf Complex has been a cornerstone of Tucson's municipal golf scene for decades, and the North Course is its flagship layout. Designed by William Bell and opened in 1945, it occupies a broad, flat stretch of parkland in the heart of the city near Randolph Park, making it one of the most accessible and historically significant public-access courses in southern Arizona. The LPGA Tour called it home for many years, with the Tucson Open drawing top professional talent and cementing the course's reputation well beyond city limits.

Playing the North Course means contending with mature trees lining the fairways — an unusual luxury in the Sonoran Desert — along with the area's characteristically firm turf, low humidity, and near-year-round sunshine. The conditions tend to produce fast, running ball flights that reward local knowledge.

As a daily-fee municipal track, Randolph North carries a democratic spirit: it's where Tucson residents have learned the game, broken personal records, and kept regular Saturday morning tee times for generations.
