Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club sits in one of Florida's quieter inland communities, a small residential town in Citrus County that developed largely through planned retirement and residential land sales in the 1970s and 1980s. The course is woven into the fabric of that community — a private layout serving the residents and members who chose this corner of central Florida for its slower pace and reasonable cost of living, well removed from the resort corridors of Orlando or the Gulf Coast.
