Drumoig

Drumoig sits on the eastern edge of Fife, just outside Leuchars in the shadow of the Tay estuary — a stretch of Scotland where fighter jets from the nearby RAF base occasionally punctuate an otherwise pastoral round. It served for a period as the home of the Scottish National Golf Centre, lending it a training and development legacy that went well beyond what you'd expect of a standard parkland track.

The par of 73 suggests at least one extra par 5 in the card, and on a layout with genuine elevation change and some length, that proves welcome. This is Fife golf without the pilgrim crowds — unhurried, honest, and set against views that remind you exactly where you are.
