Studley Wood sits in the Oxfordshire countryside just north of the city, occupying a landscape that mixes open parkland with pockets of mature woodland — the kind of terrain that rewards accurate positioning off the tee far more than raw distance. The course was built in the mid-1990s on the grounds of a historic estate, and the design makes good use of natural elevation changes and the tree lines that define so many of its corridors.
