Jack Nicklaus designed Coyote Springs Golf Club as the centerpiece of what was once one of the most ambitious planned communities in the American West — a master-developed township in the high desert north of Las Vegas that promised tens of thousands of residents and never fully materialized. That backstory gives the course an almost surreal quality: a world-class layout sitting in vast, largely empty terrain, with the silence and scale of the Mojave working on you as much as the golf itself.
