Palais Royal de Skhirat

Few golf courses in the world carry quite the weight of their name as literally as this one. The Palais Royal de Skhirat is the golf course of the Royal Palace at Skhirat, a Moroccan seaside town roughly 25 kilometers south of Rabat along the Atlantic coast. The grounds belong to the royal domain, and the course operates within that rarefied context — this is not a facility built for public convenience but one conceived as part of a grand royal estate, where golf is woven into the landscape of privilege and ceremony.

Skhirat sits on a stretch of Atlantic coastline that tempers the heat of the Moroccan interior with ocean breezes, giving the area a relatively mild microclimate compared to inland courses.
