Lindale sits in the Coosa Valley corridor of northwest Georgia, a stretch of the state shaped by textile mill history and framed by the ridgelines of the Appalachian foothills. It's honest, working-country terrain — rolling and wooded, with the kind of landscape that naturally lends itself to a course that feels rooted rather than manufactured.
The name B.E.A.A. points almost certainly to a mill or industrial employees' association — these company-sponsored clubs were once a fixture of the American South, built to give working families access to recreation that would otherwise have been out of reach. If that heritage holds here, the course carries a genuinely democratic tradition, a round of golf that belonged to the community rather than a private membership.
At par 70, the layout plays shorter than a traditional championship test, which often means more variety in hole design — a mix of shorter par 4s that reward accuracy over raw distance, and a handful of par 3s that demand real shot-making. Northwest Georgia's mild seasons make it playable much of the year.
