Sand Creek winds through the rolling glacial terrain of Scott County, about 35 miles southwest of Minneapolis, and the course takes its name from both the creek and the dramatic elevation changes that define the land. Jordan sits in a stretch of Minnesota where the Twin Cities metro gives way to open countryside, and the topography here — ridgelines, wooded valleys, and natural wetlands — lends itself to a style of golf that feels genuinely removed from the suburban layouts that dominate the region.
The Ridges at Sand Creek has built a strong local following as one of the more interesting public-access courses in the southwest metro corridor.
