Few public golf courses in America can match this one for sheer backdrop. Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne sits on a barrier island just minutes from downtown Miami, bordered by Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic, with the Miami skyline shimmering across the water on one side and open ocean light flooding in from the other. The course occupies land within Crandon Park, a county-operated preserve that gives the layout a rare, unhurried feel despite its proximity to one of the country's most electric cities.
The design weaves through a landscape of mangroves, tropical hardwoods, and saltwater marshes — terrain that is genuinely unlike anything you'd encounter in the rest of American golf.
